"The 'Don't Blame Me, Blame the Moonlight' was a variation of 'hate the sin not the sinner' that gained currency in an attempt to rehabilitate werewolves and the wolf-curious. Few people were convinced, though, and it had little impact on the moral panic against werewolfery that continues in many ways today. Modern werewolves and wifwolves tend to find the campaign a little condescending, as well."
